Whoa!

Well...that was certainly violent! We watched Kill Bill, Part I, last night. Strange...but after about 30 minutes I was no longer startled by the blood and the language and (Please forgive me!) I began to enjoy the movie. But why? Satire? Parody? Film Noire?

Maybe I will know the answer after we watch ...Part II, due on Friday.

Kevin loves these movies. Not sure I've ever watched them all the way through. They must play on TBS or TNT a lot. Seems like whenever I walk into the room it's the part (in #1) where the old man is at her house with the little girl and she puts her to sleep and they start attacking each other. I know my kids wouldn't sleep through that. Not very realistic.

By the way....Have your watch "What the Bleep do we know" yet?....

Very rare, but Kill Bill part 2 is actually better than part 1. I really liked it. I am with you, though, I am not sure why I liked it. It is so violent that it seems a parody.

Alicia spoke of "What the Bleep do we know". I could hardly wait for this movie to come out. I watched it and I guess quantum physics is just a little too deep for one time viewing with a bowl of popcorn. I will have to re-visit that one.

I'm going to second Aunt Kitty on "What the Bleep". I couldn't stay awake for it - too deep. Kevin liked it - but as we know we have a different style in what we like to watch! I'll have to try it again when I'm fully rested. Supposedly it was a "sleeper hit"...
